Amy Winehouse - Family and friends paid tribute to Amy Winehouse at a private funeral in London Tuesday, The Associated Press reports.
Winehouse's close friend and producer Mark Ronson and friend Kelly Osbourne were among the hundreds of mourners at the morning service at Edgwarebury Cemetery.
Osbourne wore her hair in the singer's signature beehive style to pay homage.
Winehouse's father, Mitch, read a eulogy, according to Sky News. He ended with: "Goodnight, my angel, sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much."
"He told some great stories from childhood about how headstrong she was, and clearly the family and friends recognised the stories and laughed along," a family spokesman said. "He stressed so many times she was happier now than she had ever been and he spoke about her boyfriend and paid tribute to a lot of people in her life."
Winehouse's ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, did not attend the service after officials refused compassionate leave from jail. He started serving a 32-month sentence last month after being convicted on burglary and firearms offenses.
The funeral was to be followed by cremation and a family gathering at a local synagogue.
Winehouse, 27, was found dead in her home Saturday. An autopsy performed Monday was inconclusive and police are awaiting more toxicology tests, which will take two to four weeks.
