In an effort to bring you the best, most polished Gears game yet, Epic Games will be hosting a month long Gears of War 3 Multiplayer Beta!



Throughout the beta period, matches will be running on dedicated servers and will provide fans the opportunity to help shape the final version for when it launches this September.

Here's the details on how to gain access to one of the biggest gaming events of the spring:

If you picked up the Bulletstorm Epic Edition, you'll be eligible for a one-week beta preview period, kicking off Monday, April 18th, and running through Sunday, April 24th. The new Team Deathmatch mode will be featured on four new multiplayer maps: Checkout, Old Town, Thrashball, and Trenches.

The full public beta period begins Monday, April 25th, and is open to anyone with a preorder of Gears of War 3 from GameStop. Beta testers can look forward to special events and playlists throughout the beta period, including two additional competitive game modes, Capture the Leader and King of the Hill.
Epic Games has set up a Gears of War 3 forum, where fans who participate in the beta can leave feedback.
