MapleStory will come on facebook in July

Ocimnet - Nexon’s MapleStory MMO is a widely played game in the internet and has received millions of users! This time, Nexon will be putting the MapleStory franchise into the world of social gaming with its adventures through Facebook on July 27!

New features in this Facebook version will allow players to invite their Facebook friends to help them in completing quests as well as the ever popular, sending gifts to them, in forms of boosting stats and leveling-up items! America Nexon’s CEO Daniel Kim said that the company sees a promising Nexon market through social network sites, having the MapleStory franchise lead the way!


Maple Story won’t be the only RPG franchise to make a debut in the social gaming world, Bioware’s Dragon Age and Square Enix’s Final Fantasy will have their own Facebook spin offs - with Dragon Age Legends and Knights of the Crystals respectively.

I didn’t know that a lot of major RPG games are making a debut on social network sites! I completely agree with the Nexon America CEO, that through social network sites, one could expect a promising market. As you all know, social networking sites are really places were a lot of people would enjoy going through because of the various features presented in these sites. I bet with MapleStory debuting there, results will definitely be positive and a lot of players would absolutely try it out!
